I have trouble sleeping. My bed isn't too hard, or my pillow too flat; the problem lies with me. Every night I lay down to sleep, I have to make a conscious effort to slow my thoughts down, and turn off. If I could get rid of sleep completely, I'd do it in a heartbeat. My days are too short as it is, and sleep just cuts into time I could spend on whatever project is consuming me at the moment. Working on my computer, on my drums, constructing, photography, planning a trip; I'm always working on something, and looking to whatever the next thing is going to be. My wife, Dena, says I'm passionate about the things I do. Someone who gets sucked into what I'm working on, and will work tirelessly until it's done. I like that description. Making websites that I visit more than anyone else and change countless times, I like to share what I create, even if no one in particular is looking. This website helps me share a glimpse of my insanity with you. |

Twenty-eight years young, I still have more ideas to try and see to fruition than I can remember all at once. I spent 8 years growing up in Connecticut, then my family moved down to a small town in Virginia named Orange. In school there I gained an interest in music and engineering. I played trumpet for 7 years, and began teaching myself drums in my own time, though in the end it was drums that stuck. (This being a huge understatement.) I majored in mechanical engineering at VCU, so the engineering stuck too. Before I graduated high school I also enlisted in the Army National Guard. As an avionics mechanic, I worked on all things electric on UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters for a little over 7 years. Deployed to Bosnia in 2001 and Iraq in 2005, I spent almost as much time on active duty as I did stateside. |

The future holds a lot of possibilities. In 2008 I married my true love,
and we went to Hawaii to celebrate.
Playtime is over, most would say. I say it's just
beginning! With my partner in crime, we patented craziness
and took it on the road.
Dena and I have many more places we want to see and
many things we want to do, as long as it's together. Our current list
will keep us busy for years to come. I've always been a big kid at
heart, and I don't see that ever changing. So in the year 2061, when
you see a strange 80 year old man running around taking crazy pictures
with some drumsticks in his back pocket, don't worry: it's just me.
